Amaing Records Of Temperature Ever

On July 21, 1983, the temperature at the Vostok Station in Antarctica dropped to −89.2 °C (−128.6 °F), and this is the coldest temperature ever recorded on earth. The largest recorded snowflake was 15in wide and 8in thick. It fell in Montana in 1887. Also in June 22, 2003 a large thunderstorm moved across south-central Nebraska, and after a hailstorm local residents in Aurora found an extremely large hailstone and quickly put it in a freezer to keep it from melting. It was examined by the National Climate Extremes Committee who measured it as being 17.8 cm (7.0 in) diameter and 47.6 cm (18.75 in) circumference.

How much a cow produce a milk in her lifetime

A cow produces around 200,000 glasses of milk in her lifetime. The milk bottle was invented in 1884. Plastic milk containers came later – in 1964. Cows are not innocent as they seem---

Your image of cows is probably similar to      mine – gentle, placid animals looking at you with those large, soft cow eyes and contentedly chewing their cud. But a recent article published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that about 20 people a year are killed by cows in the United States. The cows actually attack humans – ramming them, knocking them down, goring them, trampling them and kicking them in the head – resulting in fatal injuries to the head and chest.

These behaviors remind us that mother cows, like other animals, can be fiercely protective of their young.

The bond between a cow and her calf is very strong and continues after the calf is fully grown. In non-commercial herds, some cows will nurse their calves for up to three years.

When called 911 to report the incident, six members of the local fire department visited the scene to safely capture the animel. They are said to have gently edgd toward the tiger only to discover... that it was actually a soft toy. A firefighter threw the teddy down to the ground, where a colleague approached it with caution to double check it wasn't a danger. Houston Fire Department Captain Ruy Lozano told a Houston's digital magazine CultureMap: ----"We never really cover this part of Houston but received the most calls and attention because of this tiger."---- It remains unclear how the stuffed toy ended up on the roof of the abandoned hotel.

Disable Facebook Timeline

Timeline received a mixed response from Fb users, some welcoming it, some feeling it as a necessary burden to carry. Many of my friends wanted their old Facebook profiles back. I have been looking for a way to do so, which brings me to this post about how to disable Timeline. You can do away with your Timeline just by following the steps below :

For Google Chroome users:

---Right-click on Chrome Browser application (shortcut) and then click “Properties”.
---In the target box, add the following line of code leaving a space after chrome.exe

Windows 7/Vista users need to add this

–user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)”

Windows XP users need to add this

–user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)”

---Click on “Apply” and go to Facebook.com
---Close your Browser and Restart it and hard refresh your profile page (Ctrl+F5). You will get the Old profile view with some Formatting errors like extra space between header etc. To Fix those errors, Install this Extension in Google Chrome. [LINK]
---You’ll find your Facebook profile has been reverted back to the old interface from the new Timeline view.

For FireFox users:

---Open Firefox, Install User Agent Switcher add-on & Restart the Firefox.
---Once installed, the UAS icon will be displayed on the navigation bar. If its not displayed automatically, right-click on the navigation bar and click customize. Drag the icon “User Agent Switcher” on to the nav bar of the browser.
---Now, click on the User Agent Switcher button and select Internet Explorer -> Internet Explorer 7.Finally, go to Facebook.com and you’ll get back your old Facebook profile interface.
---Open Facebook and hard refresh your profile page (Ctrl+F5). You will get the Old profile view with some Formatting errors like extra space between header etc. To Fix those errors, Install this . [LINK]

For Internet Explorer:

For those who are using Internet Explorer 7 their is no need to do any change because Facebook Timeline would not be visible to them. For others :

Open Facebook Profile Page.
---Press Alt Key. Click on Tools > Compatibility View Settings.
---If facebook.com is already filled in, Click on Add else fill in facebook.com and Click on Add followed by Close.
---Refresh the page.

Best of Luck to All

Why You Need Stomach Acid

Why You Need Stomach Acid and What Happens When You Neutralize It ???

The importance of stomach acid is well-documented. Your body needs stomach acid for a lot of good reasons:

Stomach acid plays an essential role in the immune system by killing harmful bacteria and parasites that are ingested with food

The acid in your stomach is strong enough to dissolve razorblades

Stomach acid activates the enzyme pepsin needed for protein digestion

Stomach acid signals to the pancreas produce digestive juices and enzymes to further break down food
Stomach acid initiates peristalsis, the rhythmic contractions of the intestines, that crush and move the food through the GI tract
Stomach acid is essential for the absorption of Vitamin B12 which plays key role in the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system, and in the formation of blood.
Stomach acid performs an essential digestive function by reducing food clumps (bolus) into smaller particles (chyme), so that the intestines can absorb nutrients quickly and effectively.

The effect of suppressing stomach acidity with drugs is to decrease nutrient absorption to such a degree that there can be long term health consequences. In the process you are also compromising an essential part of your immune system. Stomach acid kills harmful microbes on contact but without it these intruders can flourish. The longer the duration of acid suppression the higher the risk of harmful effects.
